Dr. Darryl Leong, MBBS, MPH, MBiostat, PhD, FRACP, FESC, is an Associate Professor, Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine and Director of the Internal Medicine Resident Research Program at McMaster University, Director of the McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences Cardio-Oncology Program, a cardiologist at Hamilton Health Sciences, and a Scientist at the Population Health Research Institute, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Leong’s clinical interests include cardio-oncology, frailty, multi-morbidity, and echocardiography. His research is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canadian Cancer Society, the United States Department of Defense, among others. He has published approximately 200 manuscripts in the Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, and leading international cardiovascular journals.
