Dr. Matt Lanktree, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McMaster University, Medical Director of the McMaster Kidney Genetics Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and Hamilton Health Sciences, and Scientist at the Population Health Research Institute, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He has published extensively on genetics and kidney disease including CanPREDDICT and PURE Kidney Biomarker and has received peer review funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the Canadian and American Societies of Nephrology, and was recently awarded the Canadian Society of Nephrology New Investigator Award. Matt has set his goal to use genetics to improve the care of patients with kidney disease.
